Squadron Shower

Last weekend the spouses of my husband's squadron threw me a baby shower!

These two lovely ladies, Leslie and Jennifer, were the wonderful hosts

Knowing my love for Tex-Mex, it was a "Fiesta" theme....perfect for this Texas girl!

Complete with my favorite Tex-Mex treats and vases everywhere filled with "Yellow Roses of Texas" and chili peppers!!!  I felt like I was right at home ;)

An extra yummy treat...made my pregnancy sweet-tooth happy!

For one of the "shower games" we busted open a piƱata!!!

It was filled with baby items - all for Vander...
The women of 51 blessed us above and beyond....showering Vander with gifts and an overly generous gift card for our registry!  Nick and I are so very grateful!
We got some very unique gifts...this one my friend Sarah actually made herself!  And considering we live overseas and don't have a Hobby Lobby, Michael's or Home Depot for crafty help, makes her gift that much more impressive!!!
Love these ladies!!!  A special thanks to everyone of them for sharing in this special time, and attending my baby shower for Van!

Goodies to take home....my favorite = cake pops!!!!  (and not just any flavor, rainbow chip, which they don't even sell here and has to be shipped over from the States!!!  It's been my fav since I was a girl!  So yummy!)
With less than 2 weeks till Vander's due date, Nick and I are getting very anxious to meet our little man ;)
We are very thankful for all the blessings we have received for baby Van, he's not even here yet and he's already a very loved little boy!
